The planet is in a climate emergency and ecological crisis: we are in the midst of the sixth mass extinction event. Scientists believe we may have entered a period of abrupt climate breakdown and this year's fire crisis has woken up people all across the country. In this public talk, speakers from Extinction Rebellion will share the latest climate science on where our planet is heading, discuss what this means for us and our communities, and offer solutions to achieve the rapid and widespread change we need. Everyone is welcome and there will be time to ask questions and meet people involved in the local rebellion for further discussion afterwards. Entry is free.
