Fires have been raging across Australia for months, with over 10 million hectares burnt, at least a billion animals and wildlife dead, over 1,400 homes destroyed and at least 29 people dead, the time to act more than ever is now. We are currently in the midst of a climate and ecological crisis, and yet our leaders are turning their backs on us, refusing to take action, this is unacceptable, and it's time we hold them accountable for their climate crimes. Join us every Friday until the government declare a climate emergency for a sit in from 3:30pm-5pm on Macquarie St outside NSW parliament, bring a sign, friends, music or instruments.
